PRAYERS

Prayer for Relationships: (download) (Back to Top)

Relationship is the reason we were created. God desired a relationship with human beings created in His image1. His desire is that you choose Him(2). Without God, we cannot love because God is love(3). Therefore, the first place to start in any relationship is to make sure you are in relations with God first. Have you made Jesus your Lord and Master(4)?

From this relationship, all others will be added(5). You can only pour into a relationship here on earth from what you have received above(6). We are able to give to those around us out of the overflow from within us. Spend some time with Jesus letting Him search your own heart and reveal to you the thoughts and intents of the Father towards you(7). Let Him circumcise your heart(8) and remove any hindrance of intimacy between you and God, and therefore you and others as well. Ask Him to create in you a clean heart and renew your mind. A transformed mind is able to better place your values(10).

Pray: Father, I want to know you more. I want to be full of you. Search my heart God and remove from me any wicked way within me, remove any block or hindrance that keeps me from fully loving you and those around me. Holy Spirit, create in me a clean heart, a steadfast spirit and a renewed mind. I give you permission to transform me that I will be able to reveal to man your glory at work in me. May your name be lifted high and exalted in me and in all the earth. In Jesus name, amen.

If you are struggling in a relationship with another person, keep in mind our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers, principalities and rulers of this dark age(11). Ask for discernment and to have greater understanding for what this person might need and how you can help bring them freedom and peace as a servant of the most high(12). They very likely have been hurt or are afraid and out of these things use anger, manipulation, stubbornness, guilt or a plethora of other things to help control their surroundings and feelings. If you have been wrong, said hurtful things, or made pour choices, be quick to repent and ask forgiveness. As children of God, we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus(13). It is from this perspective that we need to view the world and the people in it. Recognizing the root to behaviors, actions and words helps our hearts to move more out of compassion than defense. Having revelation of the Fathers heart towards us and others allows us to move in our relationships with His grace and mercy.

Prayer: Father, open the eyes of my heart to see your intentions towards us. Grant me the perspective of where I am seated with you in heavenly places. Anoint me with compassion for those I am in contact and relationship with here on earth, that I may show the riches of your grace and kindness towards mankind. You are patient and forgiving with me in my transgressions, please give me patients as I forgive those who have hurt me. Lord, I ask that an abundance of your Spirit's fruit abound in me and that you would give me wisdom to walk out my relationships on this earth in your loving kindness and perfect peace. You greatly deserve and I give you all the praise Jesus, in your name Amen!

Prayer For a Lost Soul: (download) (Back to Top)

Father God,

In the name of Jesus, I agree with you Father that all souls are yours and yet he who sins will die. I ask that You remove the veils from the eyes of  [insert name or person]  and give them revelation of Your Love. I pray that Holy Spirit will convict them of sin, judgment and righteousness and that they will repent and turn from their sin and be cleansed. I thank you, Jesus, for dying for their iniquity and making a way for them to become a new creation, born again and rule and reign with You in Your Kingdom. I loose Your Word that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved and that you will save them to the uttermost, sanctifying them spirit, soul and body. Thank you, Father, that your angels are ministering spirits sent to minister to and for those who will inherit salvation. I loose the angels to perform Your Word and pray that you will quicken  [insert name or person]  heart and open his/her mind to truth. I loose truth to them that will set them free. I bind up all controlling ruling spirits over them and every assignment against them to keep them in the Kingdom of Darkness. Father, make a way, where there seems to be no way. I pray that you will use me or send someone to them to reveal Jesus and His sacrifice on their behalf. I pray that dreams, visions, encounters and every avenue to salvation at Your disposal will be loosed on their behalf. I issue an invitation in the spirit to come home to You. I believe and therefore I speak that Love never fails.

Prayer for The Hurting: (download) (Back to Top)

In Jesus' name, I pray for those who have been wounded and hurt to be fully healed and restored. Thank you for the comfort with which you have comforted me and I loose that to  [insert name or person]  this day. May they feel the presence of Holy Spirit, The Comforter as never before. I loose the revelation of Your perfect justice to their hearts and minds right now. May they grasp how wide, long and deep Your love is for them and be filled with the fullness of God. I loose grace to them to be able to forgive what needs to be forgiven and thereby walk in freedom and healing to the uttermost. May full restitution be given them and vindication that comes from Heaven alone. May Your friendly counsel be over their home as they heal and prosper in every way. In Jesus' name, may all bitterness and anger be uprooted and replaced with grace, peace and authority. I pray that they will guard their mouths and only speak what You tell them to speak. I bless them with rest for their souls as You lead them triumphantly.

Prayer for Families, Sons and Daughters: (download) (Back to Top)

In the mighty name of Jesus, I come before You on behalf of my family. I thank You that You are a Father of love and that Your love surrounds us where we are. I thank You, Jesus, that while we were yet sinners, You loved us and gave Yourself for us (Romans 5:8). I believe, Lord, that Your love reaches even to the deepest, darkest places where my loved ones may have wandered and I rest in knowing that You are not caught off guard by those wanderings. You see the end from the beginning and have made a way for them to come home. I thank you that they are not alone. I call this prodigal home in Jesus' name and I pray that they would know the length, the width, the depth and the height of the love You have for them (Ephesians 3:18). I decree and declare that it is Your goodness that draws them to repentance. Father, I thank You that my family is never beyond Your reach or out of Your sight. Your love reaches to the highest high and the lowest low and You are gathering from the north, south, east and west those who will call upon Your name.

I stand in agreement with your word that the blessing flows to the thousandth generation for those who love and obey You and I decree that over my children and grandchildren today (Exodus 20:6; Deuteronomy 7:9). I decree that the fruit of my womb is blessed coming in and blessed going out. I ask that You, Lord, would grant that the enemies who rise up against them would be defeated before them in Jesus name and that my family would be blessed in the land You are giving them. I decree and declare that they are established by You as a holy people and that will walk in prosperity. I decree that all they put their hand to do will prosper and that they are the head and not the tail…they are above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28).

I decree and declare that You have plans for my family…plans to prosper them and not to harm them; plans to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus' name, I bind, gag and paralyze anything that sets itself against that future and hope and I loose that future and hope to rest fully upon them now. I decree that no weapon formed against my family shall prosper and I condemn every tongue that rises against them in judgment this day in Jesus' name (Isaiah 54:17). I decree that You are a refuge and fortress for those who dwell under the shadow of Your wing. I decree that You have covered my family with Your feathers and that You will be their shield so that they will not fear the terror by night or the arrows by day, nor pestilence or plague. A thousand may fall at their side and ten thousand at their right hand, but it will not come near them. The glory of the Lord is their rear guard. In Jesus' name, I loose the angelic to go and to guard them in all their ways and that they would lift them up in their hands so that they would not strike their foot against a stone. No plague will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91).

I pray, Holy Spirit, that You would hover over them and that they would come to know, and walk in the fullness of who You've created them to be and they would lay hold of their inheritance in you. I call forth their destinies in Jesus' name. I decree over them that You have blessed them with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 1:3) and I ask that You would give them the spirit of Wisdom and Revelation so that they would come to know You more deeply and intimately. I pray also that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened so that they might know the hope to which You have called them, the glorious inheritance in the saints and the great power available for them as they believe (Ephesians 1:18). I continue to pray that You fill them with the knowledge of your will through all wisdom and understand in order that they may live a life worthy of You and that they might please You in every way, bearing fruit in every good work and growing daily in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:9).

Father, for those who don't know you yet, I pray that you would reveal Yourself to them all through the day and into the night seasons. I ask that you give them dreams, visions, and angelic encounters…that Your tangible presence would destroy all lies and false beliefs they may have been exposed to. I call them out of their bondage and to the cross and the covenant You entered into for them. I ask that they encounter Your heart, Your shed blood; and be wrecked by your mercy and love, and from that they'll never be the same.

I ask that You heal my family's minds…heal their hearts…heal their emotions. I call forth those fragmented pieces of their hearts that have been shattered by disappointment and grief and I decree over them that you came to bind up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3; Isaiah 61:1; Psalm 34:18). I decree that those that are held prisoners would be loosed and the captives set free in Jesus' name, and that they be made whole and complete in You (Luke 4:18-19) I ask that their mourning be turned to dancing (Psalm 30:11-12), and the spirit of heaviness would be exchanged for the oil of gladness (Psalm 61:3); that the joy of the Lord would be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

I stand in this; that You began a good work in them and will be faithful to carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). I commit my family to you, Lord, to keep because I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that you are able to hold, protect, pursue, heal, prosper, deliver and save to the utmost those that I love so much (2 Timothy 1:12). As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).

I honor You, Lord, and give You all the glory and praise for what You've done and will

continue to do. In Jesus' name…Amen.

Lord, I thank you for blessing that is mine because of my covenant relationship with you and the inheritance I have as your child. Jesus I receive the commanded blessing on my life and my finances. Jesus I honor you and your word. Thank you that your Word will not return void, and whatever I ask in your Name it will be done. I thank you that you go to the Father for me. I thank you that you gave the command to Bless and nothing nor any man can reverse the blessing. I thank you for the promise that I do not have to worry about what I will eat or feed my family or about what we will wear, or where money to pay the bills will come from. I renounce fear and worry right now in Jesus Name and I command you to leave me. I decree that I will stand on the word in full faith in Jehova- Jirah, My Lord who will provide. Jesus I ask you to double my faith in you and your word. Teach me how to walk by faith regarding all things, but especially my finances. What faith and obedience they had to gather all that they could find and not just what they thought would be enough. You are a God of abundance and I thank you provided enough to pay the debt and for them to live off of. I trust you to not let things wear out or run out and to provide more than enough for every need I have.

Father I thank you that my debt is paid in full and I call forth being debt free in Jesus Name. I thank you that when you died on the cross that it was for payment of my sins, but also for every debt that I owe. I thank you that it was so that I could walk free in every area. In Jesus Name I call forth __________dollars for the payment of my debt. Lord I ask you to release the Spirit of Wisdom and Spirit of Counsel so that I will know every step to take and when to take it. Lord I ask you to show me the strategy from Heaven for paying my debt.

Teach me how to be a good steward of my money and my resources. I want to honor you with my time, my money and all that I have. Thank you for a hundredfold return of all that has been sown into my life and of all that I have sown. I trust you Jesus and I thank you for giving me the desires of my heart. You are Faithful and true and you will not disappoint. Thank you that every word is yes and Amen in you. Thank you for giving me peace in times of struggle. I thank you that when it seems impossible, you are the God that makes all things possible. I choose to keep my eyes and my thoughts fixed on your promises. I rebuke the lies of the enemy and all doubt and unbelief that they cause. I repent for entertaining them and believing them. Jesus release the Spirit of Truth to me. Prayer of Deliverance for Forgiveness: (download) (Back to Top)

The important difference between Unforgiveness and Forgiveness:

Many people have been wounded from others in their spirit, soul and body. Sometimes; the injustice done to them was so great that it makes it difficult to forgive the other person[s]. At times; that other person can even be yourself.

Jesus told a parable in Matthew 18, which gives us an example of what unforgiveness looks like. In this parable; the master decided not to make his servant pay back a huge amount of money the servant owed. However; the servant refused to do the same thing for his fellow servants. The parable points out how much we've been forgiven and how it is only right to forgive others. [Matthew 18:23-35]

Unforgiveness is refusing to let go of or excuse a debt owed by another person. It has been compared to drinking poison and then hoping the other person suffers. Unforgiveness can cause a person to become bitter, sick, angry, hard-hearted, fearful, in bondage and so forth. Jesus commands that we forgive others just as He forgave us. He knows what unforgiveness can do to a person.

Sometimes; unforgiveness can be like carrying a load of rocks in a backpack wherever you go. It becomes so heavy and wears you down, but as you forgive, your load gets lighter and easier. Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened to you was ok. It isn't stuffing what happened down inside yourself and trying to forget about it. That will wear you out. To forgive, means you aren't the one responsible for seeing that things are made right. God says it's His job to repay and make things right. Forgiveness frees us from carrying the burden of injustice done to us. It frees us from the pain and allows God to move in the situation, bringing His perfect judgment in dealing with the person and/or situation. When we forgive; it means we submit and come under God's covering and protection in the situation.

When you are praying to forgive someone, it's important to pray out loud and to speak the person[s] name as well. Be specific about how whatever happened made you feel and tell Jesus how you wanted it to be. When you forgive someone, it's not, Jesus, help me forgive ___.ť Jesus already supernaturally gave you the ability to forgive. It's a choice that you get to decide from your heart. When you forgive, it's, Jesus, I forgive _____ť Sometimes; you may still feel some pain after you've forgiven. It's kind of like having a splinter in your hand. It may take some digging to get it out and might be painful in the process. After you get the splinter [unforgiveness] out, it sometimes takes a little while for the hand to be completely healed. Jesus will heal you if you let Him.

Here is a prayer you can use to forgive someone:

In the name of Jesus Christ, it is my will and I choose to forgive [insert name or person you need to forgive here] for [speak what happened or what they said]. When [speak the person's name you are forgiving] did what they did it made me feel [sad, hurt, angry, etc.]. Jesus, I ask that you heal my emotions. I destroy the power of the hurtful words that were spoken to me, about me and over me and I command that any spirit assigned to fulfill those words would leave me now in Jesus Name.

Abraham had hope even though in the natural there was no way he and his wife Sarah could have children due to their old age. Abraham did not hope on what the natural looked like, his hope was based on what God had promised him. He did not waver from that promise or that hope; therefore, God gave him a son and made him a father of many nations just as He promised. When we put our hope on the promises of God and not waver into unbelief we too will see the glory of God.

Pray:

Father God, I ask now that you uproot any unbelief in my heart. Holy Spirit I ask that you would fill me with hope. The hope that no matter what things look like in the natural, that my hope will be on the promises of God and what your word says. You said, “You magnify your word above your name” so I thank you for your promises and the unwavering hope that you have put in me.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
